1. Who is responsible
Angular Atlas is run by its author. For anything about your personal data, write to contact@angularatlas.dev.
2. What data is processed
- Your preferences (theme, language), your reading progress and the data you type into the live examples, saved in your browser’s
localStorage. They never leave your device: we do not receive them. - Advertising data: the site shows ads served by Google AdSense. If you consent, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies, your IP address, device identifiers and information about the pages you visit to deliver, measure and personalise ads.
- Server logs: IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept by the hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and to fix errors.
- Audience statistics: the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate (pages viewed, country, device and browser type, where the visit came from). According to Cloudflare, this measurement does not use cookies or local storage and does not follow you across sites.
The site has no user accounts and no forms that collect personal data.
3. Legal basis
- Your consent for advertising cookies and personalised ads (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, for storing or reading information on your device).
- Legitimate interest for server logs and aggregate audience statistics: security, operating and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Preferences you set yourself are stored only to provide the function you asked for.
4. Who receives data
Google (Google AdSense), which acts as an independent controller for advertising and sets its own rules; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery and audience statistics), as processor. We do not sell your data.
5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Google may process data in the United States and other countries, on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
Preferences stay in your browser until you delete them. Server logs are kept for short periods set by the hosting provider. Google keeps advertising data according to its own policies.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You can withdraw your advertising consent at any time through “Privacy and cookie settings”, without affecting what happened before. To use your other rights, write to contact@angularatlas.dev. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
